The courageous plight of many Latino/non-Latino reverts is appreciated and is a welcomed dialogue, no doubt! These  stories  too must be heard, understandably why they do capture much attention. I commend those not shying away from proclaiming their newfound faith and overzeolous joy at embracing Islam.  Surely, Islam can be the best therapy ever — jump HIGH and say Alhamdullilah! Islam is not limited to an intellectual discourse on the proclamation of faith and the tidbits that go along with it, but also the emotional roller coaster, and sometimes true upsets that many reverts have experienced. Islam is a way of life. Telling that journey to Islam, is an important story. Perhaps, all I am asking is for some balance in the telling of our stories. We need not forget that in the midst of conversions to Islam, there are teachers, daiyas, programs, and much support from a community of Muslims.
